The "spam" thread

I was just hired by Macy's! Wheee!

I wish I had a way to make money and deal with clothes at the same time.FanChan wrote:I was just hired by Macy's! Wheee!

Ever since I went to the county fair I lost my voice due to cottonwood trees. If I do talk I sound like Twink.

Well, I've got a fulltime job somewhere...I just don't know where yet. They are posting my longterm sub position in kindergarten for employment. Today I was asked to prioritize the schools I'd applied for. Now I just need to know where I'm gonna be placed. XD

I don't think you'll find them at any Hallmark store. I haven't heard of anyone seeing them at one.

Agreed. I've not seen them at any Hallmark store, but I've also not seen them at any Walmart around here either. I've been to 4 within the 45 minute radius around here. That leaves out 2, but I really doubt either of those carry them either. I think it's all just patience. Personally, I think we'll see more once the holiday toys roll out.FanChan wrote:WishBear2001 wrote:still no RB 2009 stickers...

Re: The "spam" thread
I haz job now
I was called tonight and told that I am being recommended at the next board meeting to be a 4th grade teacher at one of the county elementary schools. After it's approved, I'll sign my contract and begin transitioning on September 24.
It's not my first choice school, but at the end of the year I can always transfer. It is a good school though. I loved it when I did sub there one day last school year. It'll be about a half hour commute... and in the winter it'll suck. The only good thing is that when it's really bad weather, dad can take me to the school on his way to work and I may be able to find someone closer to this area to bring me home. If nothing else, I could stay late until dad could get me.
I hate having to change schools again and learn the ropes of yet another place, but if I must, then I will. At least I now have my benefits and a guaranteed paycheck.

Did you know that a LOT of 4th graders are the same size or bigger than their teachers?

Yup. I had some 3rd graders bigger than me so I know my fourth graders will be. I'm used to it by now XDWishBear2001 wrote:oh, boy...Chibi Rachy wrote:I haz job nowI was called tonight and told that I am being recommended at the next board meeting to be a 4th grade teacher at one of the county elementary schools. Also, painting gourds is fun... get more gourds for $5 than you would just one pumpkin... and mine have spawned Mario-esque ideas XD I shall post pics when I finish them.
