Favorite Movie Openings

What are you favorite movie openings? They can be good movies or bad movies. Let us watch them and if you wish, explain why they are your favorites. Here are my top five:

1. Watchmen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=573XmVOdD2Q (I LOVE LOVE LOVE this film. Whether you're familiar with the graphic novel or not, it takes superhero movies to a completely new level. I adore every detail of this opening sequence, and it's amazing to see how history would be altered if superheroes really did exist in our age. In fact, if you look VERY closely at one of the shots, you can see Batman's parents getting saved from their untimely murder. So resultantly, Batman never exists).

Hilarious, grade-B sci-fi/horror at its best. Also: best (worst?) theme song ever.

I love the opening credits with the dragonfly. So very, very clever.

A great opening sequence, and I love the little animated car chase during the 20th Century Fox credits, too! (which you'd have to watch the dvd for, since most youtubers cut it off)

James Bond: pick a movie, they're all good. No other movie franchise has such unique openings.

I could not stop laughing!!! It is from the movie "Be Kind Rewind" if you haven't seen it you should!
