made it out of a barbie horse that just happened to have the same stance as the RBB horses.

I'm sure Stormy would be proud of your custom made Skydancer. Nice job there.

Re: My Custom Skydancer
Beautiful! Skydancer is the custom i made and lost the picture, but the 80's barbie horse "Dallas" is a good one to use if you make anymore. She has the same stance/position and skydancer and the other rainbow brite horses did so they look so much like the real ones when they are done. Great job! The larger size horse customs are my favorite, wish i had the time to do more, it was fun! How long did it take you to do him? I had to pull the horse apart for the one i did, did you have to do the same? looks great!

I tried to pull him apart but I almost cracked him so I just took some little tiny scissors for trimming cuticles and cut away at the plastic holding his mane in. then I sewed the new hair through a think piece of cotton cord and stuffed it into the hole in his neck. it stays so long as no one pulls on it. i had to wait between coats but total time was probably a few hours. his eyes took the longest because i wanted them to look awesome so i kept redoing them
