Modern music that reminds you of Rainbow Brite?

Okay, so a few months ago I ran across a song by Annie Lennox. I don't know about you, but I LOVE her music. She is one of those 80's icons!

Anyway, here new video and song "Shining light" SCREAMS Rainbow Brite to me.
I just love the colours!

There's one by a bubblegum dance act (my favorite genre!), called Djumbo, from their album called Magic, and the songs called Magic Beat. It always reminds me of rainbow brite. : )

It may not totally fit Rainbow Brite, but it kind of feels like a song that would pay after the final climax of some new epic Rainbow Brite movie.

Yeah there isn't a whole lot of stuff that seems to capture the essence properly is there...something is either too dark...or too skanky...or too whatever lol Starvoyager has a ton of songs that mention rainbows saved on his drive tho that when I hear them actually feel semi suiting. Not all of them but some.

Most of my favorite stuff is dark or hard rock... so certainly no Rainbow-esque reminders there!

As for the song in the original post: it's all right, but I really couldn't bring myself to listen to the whole thing... it got to me after awhile.
