Here comes the snow (again) in Highland Springs

Post by Major Ursa »

Stormy must be having fun. :rbstormy: :snowman:

I'm taking a time out from watching a Nascar race in Las Vegas right now. It is snowing here in Highland Springs. I just too some night pics to share.

It is early right now. I wonder if anyone else here on the east coast of the US is getting snow?

Very pretty pics :)

I'm in the eastern panhandle of WV and we got some snow this morning, but it warmed up to 40 today so a lot of it melted. I'm still hoping we might get some snow though or something to cause a delay for school... the other teachers feel the same way. Weekend snow is wasted snow, as one says!

You're luckier than us...we've been getting this icky weather where it snows a bit...freezing rain...rain...then it all freezes again after melting somewhat...so you can skate even on the snow lol It's covered in ice.....this winter is a major bummer....can't make snowmen like this :(

Rainbow may need to talk to Stormy about this.

Meanwhile...

Here are some more pics of the snow. This time, they are day shots.

Drat! Stormy's up to no good in some places and not doing very well in others...all I'm getting is the cold, which is no fun cause there's no snow to go with it! I hate freezing my tail off each day going to work!

Looks nice.

I had a freezing rain warning with ice pellits (?) today. I had to shovel ice and slush in the rain befire it may freeze when the temperature drops.

I've been ice skating outdoors a few timee this season. I wonder if that ice storm could set up the icefor skaters in the park. It's got a trail around the baseball felid which reminds me of an olympic oval. It's longer than an NHL ring when going around in short circles.
