Garage Sale Finds

I was out at our citywide garage sales last weekend, and came across a Starlite Saves the Day book, and a twin Rainbow Brite comforter.

My collection has been in storage since I got married 8 years ago, but I just couldn't resist buying them! My five year old has a set of Rainbow Brite sheets, so I figured the comforter could serve as an extra blanket in cold weather, since it's quite worn. I haven't bought anything Rainbow Brite related in probably ten years, but getting this stuff made me think of the boards...I haven't checked in here in years! Hope everyone who's still around is doing well!

Hi, Allison! Welcome back! The boards have been quite slow anymore- wish they weren't. It's cool that you came across some Rainbow Brite goodies. I always hope to come across a Starlite bank someday.

Great finds! I haven't seen RB items at yard sales, thrift stores, or flea markets in many years, either. Your fins give me some hope that I'll come across something this summer!
