What did you do on Valentines?

We don't have much money in our house to buy gifts, so I woke up Valentines and my guy made me homemade, from scratch pancakes, with bacon and sausage. He also made a special no syrup, plain silver dollar short stack for my Chihuahua! So she got to eat with us!

I didn't do much. I worked on my lesson plans for this week and then worked on finishing Dynasty of Rogues by Jane Fletcher. Late in the evening I got a phone call from the girl I'm in love with and we chatted for a bit. It was very nice, and I told her what I would have done if I could have been there. Although, the strangest thing was that while we were on the phone, a fire started across the street in the yard. Whole new meaning to the term "soul on fire" right there.

I had sent her a package earlier that had 2 mix CDs, a letter, some candy, and a rainbow with hearts sketch I'd done.

Adam gave me a Skeletor figure from the new Masters of the Universe Classics line. I framed our wedding vows for him And we love cards...On-X even gave him one Then we recreated our first date by watching Princess Bride and eating Adam's homemade clams and linguine...then chocolate waffles w/ice cream for desert...hehe It was a nice, relaxing day.

We went out the night before to a resturant with no kids. We are not big on valentines day.
Though we spent the day with my sister, 2 other brother in laws, 4 kids renovating an investment property!

I don't celebrate V-Day. So I didn't really don much of anything.
