I wonder what Red Butler and Buddy Blue's dress-up outfits would have looked like? Any speculation?

I wonder if they even designed the boy characters? I got the idea they didn't sell as well- but there must at least be some concept sketches out there-

Mattel is such a powerful/scary company that the artists & toy designers are afraid to share their work even 25+ years later... so sad for us-

I for one would love to see dolls made of all of Tom's designs :D

which designs are you talking about? I don't think I've seen them. never really put thought into boy dress up dolls, but it could be fun

I'm still working on some things, just about caught up to where i would like to be, but still far to go. so in time...... hopefully soon I'll get to the dress up line of dolls. :)

I already have someone who called dibs, not sure if i'll make more, we'll see what you all think ;)

I would have loved boy dress-up dolls. All of my boy customs (except Krys) have been on the dress-up body. Pants of that size are surprisingly hard to make.

Oooh, I would love to see someone do a Dress-up style Krys.

tomsprite, whcih doll redesigns are they talking about? I'd like to see!

The next dress up doll will be a shy violet. I think the hair stiles for all the dolls will mimic the originals, like rb, tp's pigtails & moonglos half up style. I think the half upp style will look good on shy violet.

thinking the pigtails for canary and indigo, but not sure, any input? thankx!

I think Indigo should have the half up half down style so she'll be different from the regular doll, and I think pigtails on Canary would be totally cute!
