Ceramic hanging rainbow brite from child hood

Here is some pic of rainbow brite i have had since i was little guessing '88 or '89 I have a feeling a friend gave it to me as a birthday present.
Starlite is in the pic so you can see her size.
She has holes in her back, a plastic stopper at base and little beads inside. I'm thinking maybe she is an air freshener??
The are no markings of year serial number or company, so i don't know if she is genuine.

She's so cute!!! Definitely looks like an air freshener to me, with the holes on the back and stopper on the bottom. I think I have a similar ceramic Strawberry Shortcake air freshener somewhere. Very cool! Thanks for sharing
