Hey There Delilah- Plain White T's
Remembering the past to make the future better.
I remember listening to that song when I was forced to stop collecting toys and liking fantasy. (2005- spring 2008)
Teachers said "I needed realism, not gunk" and "You can't make a living on stinkin' eBay", but I kept 3 Care Bear movies, 8 Care Bear minis, a Care Bear miniskirt and one Care Bear plush Wish under lock-and-key in my bedroom. I was allowed to have Pound Puppies, Pink Panther and My Little Pony until teachers found out about My Little Pony in 2006.
In spring 2008, my best friend showed my dad auctions on toys on eBay ending for 400 USD and he got rid of public school and dumb fantasy-hating social workers (brain washers) and got the stash of bears/ponies he saved out. I had to agree with him that I would not debox/devalue any toys he purchased. (so that's why I'm an op shop/thrift store bug for loose toys)

Couldn't Breathe - Lennon (Murphy, not John Lennon)
Heard while fooling around with some writing. One of my favorite songs of hers because it intertwines piano and rock together. Also, has my life motto in it. So yes, much love for this song.

It's kinda strange how some people don't realize you can love fantasy and live in reality at the same time. I've always felt that the act of devaluing fantasy was like devaluing imagination and creativity.
Current song: I'll Be There by Hardline

It was rough. Thinking more about it, I was allowed to have Bratz/Barbie/Hannah Montana type stuff and girly magazines that I HATED until that was the only thing I was allowed to have. Then at thrift stores, my best friend would occasionally sneak ponies/bears out of the free pile and a Barbie or two for the parents to think I was getting only Barbies. That's why my collection is so large now.
Around 2008 I still loved fantasy and looked up girly but not overdone cartoons on my best friend's computer and I found Lala Orange, Winter Berry Twist-styled Ginger Snap and Hello Kitties in pink outfits in that search which is why I love them so much now.
My songs:
Strawberry Shortcake- Everyone's A Star
I wonder if I should get the South African DVD with this on it or wait for AG to put it out in the US.
Selena Gomez/TinkerBell- Fly To Your Heart
To get me in a positive mood.

Kids in America - Kim Wilde
Playing Just Dance...the reason for even learning the moves to the song is really all very um...shallow of me... but I couldn't resist! I do like this version of the song. I also love Len's version of the song, but none of the recent remakes.

Now that is a good song choice. It's one of the ones I do like by Nightwish

Highly agreed. It's one of their best if you ask me. I used to be really into them, but not so much anymore. most of their songs just really don't do it for me anymore. When I was 17, sure, but now, not so much.Chibi Rachy wrote:Now that is a good song choice. It's one of the ones I do like by Nightwish
