Isn't it funny that after all these years we're still learning new things about these dolls? I love it :) And I'm pretty sure that the 10" Mattel Lurky is the most common, so you shouldn't have much trouble finding one...even boxed. BAEC, please correct me if I'm wrong.

You're quite right. The small normal (not Emotions) Lurky is pretty easy to find, even boxed. I just bought two of them for a total of under USD 50 plus shipping. There are two other MIB versions at the moment at silly prices so leave them alone. The large normal Lurky is another matter. He's not so easy to find because most people don't know the different versions exist. Some sellers may give an idea of the height in their listings but most don't and it's had to know just from a picture when there's nothing to compare it to. Boxed dolls are no problem. you can always ask for the item number. Is it a 7244 (small) or a 7881 (large)? Anything else is an Emo version and the number (G1078) will be right on the Hiney Hangar.

The sizing does make it difficult-

you know, I think it is the small emotions Lurky I don't have, the 2 Lurky's I have include the gigantic one, and the one that came in a box like the sprite box-

So it looks like I need the little emotions Lurky.... I got the big one with his tag and everything for like $10 once- but again, I think the prices really fluctuate...

"Little" Emo Lurky?

You mean they had two Lurkys in the Emo line? They didn't do that for any of the other RB products, did they?

Oh gosh I hope there's not another one!

I'm not sure, but I'm thinking the large Mattel Lurky didn't come in a box...just with tags like this one:

Too bad they can't ship to the US :(

Maybe that's the case, the big ones had no box, only a tag and a booklet.

Did you notice the 68 CM? That's nearly 27 inches if the number 68 is correct. I'd expect it to be around 41 CM, which is 16 inches.

Yes, I did notice the size. Hopefully they just measured wrong and there aren't that many variations in size!

You were right. The largest Lurky did not come in a box. He was sold with a tag and the booklet about the sprites.

He and his friends should be arriving at my place in a week or so... :bg: :bg: :bg:

Thank you.

Ebay is weird about showing things from certain countries in the USA. They give you some nonsense about logging in to the site of the country where it's listed. They continue this stupidity even after you have bought and paid for the item and refuse to let you see it on ebay USA. I get around this by logging into one of the sites in Europe. If I see something from another site, I copy and paste the item number to the site I have open as I hate logging in five or eight times a day.
