I also made some pictures that show the working-progress just a little but I think the doll looked like a plucked chicken ... really no nice sight ... I assure you that ! :-))))))))

@ Chibi Rachy :

Thank you ! :bg:

I think if you would ve watched me while working on the doll you would ve laughed ...
I work quite fast and I am very hectic too ! :-)))))))

Most of the accecoires were already prepared ... I only redyed the body, cut off and rerooted the hair and painted her face.
Painting the face took most of the time ... it was a terrible balancing act cause I knew that if I make one mistake I can dump the doll ... I trembled some times and I had a lot of luck ...

Thanks to all who kept their fingers crossed for me ... it helped I guess !

Yes but still it would take some people longer than just an evening to do all that :) Seems like you could make customs and then sell them yourself!

@ Chibi :

It s the same with drawing ... I am always totally impatient and always stay in a state of rush ... maybe I ll get a heart attack some day ! ;)

At the moment I really do not think about selling custom dolls ... maybe in the future when I have some more experience !

I managed to work out a quite robust doll but the result is still a doll for a cabinet one should only look at and not play with.

The professionell custom-doll creators are able to sew robust clothes ... I think it will take some time till I learn that ... I should visit a sewing-class !

Many custom dolls are bought with the idea that they will be meant for display... usually the cost is what does that. Sewing would be a start...I do not know how to sew myself. I used to know basics back in middle school, but not anymore.

To learn sewing could be usefull !

Same with me ... I know some basics but I would love to make my own patterns and sew them with a good sewing machine !

The only part of the doll where I made some stiches is the cloak ...

...I am so happy that my first custom-doll turned out well and so I am totally motivated to also tinker a Krys-doll !
