Highly agreed. It's one of their best if you ask me. I used to be really into them, but not so much anymore. most of their songs just really don't do it for me anymore. When I was 17, sure, but now, not so much.

Yeah, I kinda liked some of their stuff in high school as well. I liked their version of Phantom of the Opera. More recently at a con, I liked Bye Bye Beautiful when it was used in an AMV.

As for my song (I don't think I've used this before) it would be Seneca Tragedy by Straight Line Stitch. More hard rock and not screamer metal like before from them.

Ok. I couldn't help but post this one since it's so awesome and unexpected. I stumbled onto this on youtube in a search for some new power metal bands.

It's a power metal version of Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Girl" I love it :D

Okay I just had to click that because it seemed so odd to pair the two up. It was good. Mind you, I hate the song itself because of its connotations (not the parts about kissing girls in general; that's fun), but the power metal version sounds really awesome. The poster put a good bit of work into getting that together. Someone should redo Katy's part and make it true metal. Now that would be funny!

I think I know what you mean about the connotations. I'll agree with you on the lyrical content. I actually thought the music of the original was pretty catchy too, but this version was really my kinda thing. Yeah. I personally would go for a classically trained power metal singer with a nice vibrato who can really hit the high notes to replace her in the singing department. Now that's metal!
