As do I, but they aren't ready yet. They hope to have them all ready for next year.

The dolls are crap, but not a total loss. Being 10" dolls I can steal their outfits for my Pullips, who will look MUCH better in those outfits then these dolls do. :) As for the horses... fugly bratz mockups. Not impressed. I think I'll just custom a few MLPs instead. :P

I love them! The horses remind me of these hard plastic horses I played with as a kid...only they came with paints and you painted them.

Anything having real "hair" bugs me though....I worry about it fuzzing up. I wonder how they will be packaged? boxes or blister packs?

Nice to see even more news! I kinda like doll sets, I would buy them.
Starlite does look bald lol. I think they slicked his hair way back for the pics though. Image

I think the real dolls would look nicer, I can't wait till they come out.

I'm hoping for boxes. Boxes seem to be better quality/have more graphics and are sometimes easier to display than blister packs. I hope that none of the dolls come in completely open packaging like the 2004 dolls did. I have a heck of a time keeping the dust off them, especially their hair! However, in the interest of the environment, I guess less packaging is more these days.

I don't see a lot of resemblance to the Bratz dolls, personally. To me they look about the size of the Megan dolls from My Little Pony back in the 80s, but they may actually be bigger. I think they're bigger than my old Sailor Moon small dolls.

I do notice that Tickled Pink and Moonglow don't have anything on their cheeks, which is not a problem either way.

Their hair seems short to me... it looks longer in the drawings of the characters. Maybe it's just the angle of the pics? Or maybe these are prototype dolls and the real dolls will have longer hair. Who knows. I wonder if the belts are removable or sewn into their dresses. I'm guessing sewn in. Also love the arm bands.

I love the pearly coating on the horses. I like their ears too... they look actually sculpted and not just a triangular lump.

Most of the Playmates Disney Fairies and Strawberry Shortcake dolls came on cards with plastic cover but the 15 inch and Play Date Pals came in boxes. I am not sure about plush, but the Disney Fairies came on cards. I hope this helps with predicting packages for these

The dolls look okay nothing really fantastic about them. I agree the length is way too short.

he horses on the other hand are down right terrible. Why do the illustrations look better? Starlite looks way too feminine and has hardly any definition. All of them look way out of proportion the legs are much too long. The hair looks really cheap and too short for them too. They could have used other moulds for them maybe, like any mattel horse looks better.

But was I surprised? Not really...Here's hoping the these turn out better.

Heh. He does look incredibly feminine. I don't mind the dolls too much (although I wish RB's hair were not so screamingly blond), but the horses are awful. And you are absolutely right -- I can definitely see Playmates & McDonald's striking a deal to put tiny versions in Happy Meals.
