I am in fact related to about half the town of Point Pleasant, WV and am well versed in Mothman legend. My great aunt lived just down the road from the old TNT factory until she passed on, and my cousins still live near it. I spent my childhood visiting annually, many of the sites from the Mothman movie (well, the parts that were actually filmed in WV, anyways.)

Go to this page http://www.prairieghosts.com/octavia.html and scroll down to the section titled The Legend of Octavia Hatcher. This is my great great great great great great great aunt (we've traced our family back that far). To be brief, she was buried alive and allegedly haunts the Kentucky cemetery where she is buried to this day. We were stunned to discover her story on Prairie Ghosts.

Oh! That reminds me! I used to live a couple of hours from where the Blair Witch Project was shot in Maryland. I've even gone horseback riding through those woods. It's quite amusing, because it's not easy to get lost in those woods. Walk in any one direction for very long and you'll find a road. But still, I thought it was pretty neat at the time. The classmate of mine who's mom I rode with wouldn't ride around there anymore because he was spooked by the movie xD
"I hope you know what you're doing, Rainbow."
"You still doubt me, after all this time?"
"I don't doubt," Krys said as he paused at the door. "I worry."

I've never seen that movie XD Interesting how things end up changed for movies. Wonder if I would still manage to get lost?

The Mothman Prophecies movie is kind of slow. Unless you're really interested (like I was) you might get bored.

Speaking of Blair Witch, have you ever played any of the Blair Witch games? The first volume (Rustin Parr) is creepier than any Resident Evil/Silent Hill game I've played.

And yes, I've read about Spring-Heeled Jack before. Interesting guy. Might make an awesome scary movie.

EDIT: That Flatwood monster gives me the shivers, but it strangely reminds me of a certain enemy in the Final Fantasy games (forgotten its name). LOL.
