My hubby and I closed on our new house a little over a week ago, and spent the entire first weekend painting 5 of the rooms different colors. I just had to share the pics with ya'll cause I love 'em so much!! :D

The siding is SUPPOSED to be green, but it's so muted that it just looks gray

But we're going to hang green curtains in the blue room and put green accents in various places

Don't worry - I couldn't leave it out!

There's also one more room that we haven't painted yet (future nursery we hope)...and it may end up being green. Or PINK XD

Wow, it's lovely Katy! It looks so very new and clean. I wouldn't be surprised if you two did some serious research about the location as well and you probably got either forest trees or fields and a lake nearby ... the thought of it just makes me jealous!!

I'm so tired of renting a house, I'd love to have my own place and be it only 1 large room as long as I can fit in my home recording studio and cinema! lol

Good painting rooms. So far I only see 5 colors. Was the second room indigo or violet?

Looks violet. Ha! I'm glad you won't leave green out! It's a good colour ^_^ One of our rooms is green. My room's burnt orange. It's very pretty and matches perfectly with a painting I did in high school of a temple we visited in Japan.

I can't wait to have my own place to paint as I like *-* Every wall would have a mural eventually xD

Such nice bright colors! I love how cheerful it all looks. Such a contrast to my room with the peeling faded yellow wallpaper XD
