I just love how soft they get them these days *-* I decided I want to try to collect a new stuffed animal each Easter. I was going to stick with bunnies, but the store's got some really adorable sheep this year *-* I'm also beginning a new collection of stuffed lions. They're not easy to find at all @_@
Wow, stuffed lions is an interesting one! I have a bunch of stuffed bears that have been given to me since I was a baby...but I got rid of the ones I didn't care for/didn't have any special meaning. I don't have a lot of space in my room for all of them... good luck with your lions though...I can't recall ever seeing a stuffed lion...well if you don't count Lion King/Between the Lions stuff.

Hehe. Well, I cosplay for conventions, and I've finally committed to one character - she's got about six different costumes, and I love each and every one of them. I intend to be selling artwork at various conventions, so I thought having one good character to cosplay rather than having to come up with new ones six or seven times a year would be a good idea. Anyway, basically, that character, in the show, is taken to a stuffed animal store and told she could pick one. She winds up picking a lion.
So I want to have a bunch ^_^ TY makes a really great one that's about nine inches tall. I think I've got the little lion they make. Aside from that, so far, I've only seen about four. I'll have to go to zoos and collect the ones they offer in their giftshops.

I too have my own times of childhood revisited when I hit the toy sections of places like Wal-Mart and Target for my die-cast vehicle collection or hit the specialty stores like Toys R Us or Build a Bear Workshop for eith my die-cast vehicles or Teddy Bears. It's nice to have real childlike fun. Those who think you should grow-up tend to be the ones who really act imature (especialy if one person wants to enjoy child stuff).
That is too true Major! My dad is a prime example of this...for any peter pan fans out there who know my nickname from the story..thats actually something ironic...my dads name is George ...u know..like George Darling..both just as immature ....actually no....my dad is worse LOL I wear a disney faeries bookbag and he really came down on me hard about that and liking childish stuff and why did he do this? In defense. I called him on a lie he told my sister behind my back.....who's really the childish one here? LOL Gawd there are 10 year olds more mature. To me being child like and being mature are completely seperate. Most people lump them together but...You can be a child or child like and still be mature and responsible while still being silly. They are completely different IMO. You can find silly playful children who still understand it's not nice to say mean things to people for instance...but yet we have 40 year olds who are more immature tho they don't do childish things...because they act mean....if u know what i mean? LOL

I see people acting as you did everyday cos i work in a toy store. We are like it, opur customers are like it. Its just so fun ^^
I have to admit though the only times i do get angry at it, is when teens start doing it and leave a mess everywhere and I or my staff have to spend ages tidying up after them!
Well therein lies the difference I think...I dunno why people get so upset over "adults" playing with toys in stores as long as it's all cleaned up and left like it was before in the end.

We were kinda lucky actually. That kid was like a bull in a china shop. I crashed into a couple piles of books and toys (no to mention the kiosk) I'm amazed nothing got broken during that fiasco.

We usually tend to leave it pretty much the same as when we get there tho have you noticed that? We don't make too much of a mess.
I remember when I was little there was this doll that was popular called PJ Sparkles...anyone else have her? You'd press her back and she had jewellry and a bow that would light up and flash..all pink of course lol
I never had a PJ Sparkles doll, but from what I remember she was similar to Little Miss Make-up in size. I recently saw new PJ Sparkles dolls at Wal-mart, but they were only about four or five inches tall. They have Smurfs at Wal-mart, too. I saw that they re-released the old TMNT at Target, too!
A few months ago I bought re-released the Rainbow MLP at KB Toys and when I got them home I was a little dissapointed in their quality. The colors in their manes were in the wrong order and their tails were incredibly thin compared with the original ponies. The Rainbow ponies are my favorite. I just wish that they would have paid a little more attention to detail when re-releasing things. I wonder if they have re-released other ponies besides the Rainbow ponies and the first original six ponies(I found those at Wal-mart).

Sukey
OMG Little Miss Makeup LOL I had her as well! hehehe As for My little Pony...back in '05 I went on ebay and bought..i think her name is Gusty..she has green hair with a red streak and sparkly maple leaves on her backside..i absolutely loved her when i was little and i think mom sold her at a garage sale years ago..so i bought her back..i dont care for the new my little ponies...i have to have the old school hehe. So I still had two that managed to survive that garage sale and i re-bought my favorite one...Gusty was a unicorn too! Woot unicorns!
I've got a Gusty unicorn! ^__^ One of my favorites. I always pretended she was the mom of my unicorn baby...I can't remember which one that's called. Another one of the famous from-the-cartoon ones. My baby Firefly's my favorite, though.
