Should be getting Starlite on Monday! Soooo excited!!!

So, I called a corporate Hallmark store that is about an hour and a half away from me and inquired about Starlite- they said that they had just opened the box with him it it!!! Talk about timing! So, my friend/co-worker actually is going there this weekend and I asked her if she could pick him up, cuz I won't be able to make it till next weekend(I am working all this weekend). I can't wait to see him!

yay!
I just picked my Starlite, Twink and the book tonight!

I called ahead so i knew the store had them, but still i had a moment of eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee when i saw them on the shelf!

While i was checking out the lady behind the counter said she had heard a rumor that Hallmark was talking with Madame Alexander about new Rainbow Brite dolls?!

Hope you got your Starlite!

Interesting! That's the first I've heard of it, but who knows? That would be awesome if they were in the style of the small one they made a few years back! I'm not a big fan of their rag dolls.

Interesting! That's the first I've heard of it, but who knows? That would be awesome if they were in the style of the small one they made a few years back! I'm not a big fan of their rag dolls.

I wasn't a fan of the rag dolls either, they were pretty awful.
and i was disappointed that the small one was plastic and cheapish looking up close...
but I'd be interested to see a new design by Madame Alexander!

Picked him up today. The hair. THE HAIR!!!

I was immediately possessed to do hair shampoo commercial "head turns" with him.

Lol! I like the Pantene commercial! I can't wait to see his hair!

My friend decided not to go last weekend, but we are going today! Me, hubby and mom are going to a fall festival and where my Starlite is isn't too far from there!!!

So, I picked up a Starlite this weekend. The yarn used for his hair is a lot thinner than I expected. He actually seems a lot smaller than I expected- I put Twink on top of him and he looks so big compared to Starlite(maybe he is a baby Starlite

)! His body is oddly shaped. Overall still very cute, though!
