My little Rainbow Brite purse came today! ^__^ It's so cute! It's just big enough to fit my wallet, my phone, and my keys.
I also got the pattern for the RB doll. That's going to be an adventure @_@ I've never actually worked with a pattern before, so I have a feeling I'll be doing a lot of googling to figure out what certain symbols in the directions mean. So far, though, it doesn't look like anything I can't handle. I'll start fooling around with that as soon as I finish my cosplay costume for the anime convention in April.

Thanks ^_^ It's more of a pouch than a purse. I normally shun purses - the one I use is canvas, has a military look to it, which is a style I love, but the strap is so short that it's a pain in the butt, so I typically just carry a bookbag. I normaly have to carry a notebook and sketchbook, anyway. But this little pouch is great for the necessities, like if I'm going to church and just need my ID and keys.
I really do hope this doll turns out well. I might experiment with the fabrics. They suggest felt for a lot of the costume, but I'm not sure that's what I really want to use. We'll see how it goes @_@

Lol I carry a bookbag with my teaching stuff in it, though I suppose it really doesn't help make me look like a teacher...I look more like a student than ever with it slung over my shoulder. I can't even handle carrying a small bag though...I just prefer my wallet since it's easy to slip in my pocket.
I hope it turns out well too. Do what you think is best; you're the one with the skills to make it, not me! :D

Thanks! ^_^ I've gotten a handful of iron-ons since then. Still waiting for the neat little PVC figures to come. I'm not sure if they're Hallmark or not, but they were pretty awesome.
