Early stages of a new project (image request)

After all of these years, yes, I am going back to doing a project Rainbow Brite-oriented.

As I've mentioned to Rainbow Brite UK, my current creative outlet is sculpting. I've sculpted two comic book-themed busts so far (about six inches in height total), and I've decided I want to add Princess to my list.

This will be a 3/4 body bust (meaning head, shoulders, arms and body, ending just in the upper thigh) on a custom sculpted base. I will be casting the final sculpt in resin and I may make a couple of copies of it (not for profit, but perhaps to recoup the cost of the materials).

I'm still finishing up the painting of my last bust, so I am just in the information-gathering stage. Once I'm ready, I will do some sketches of different poses I can put Princess in, and decide from there which pose to sculpt.

What I'm looking for right now are good, detailed images of Princess (especially of her side and back and detailing of her chestpiece) that I can start doing sketches from. My intention will be to 'show my work' as it were, during each stage of this sculpting process by sharing pictures of my progress.

Is anyone able to help?

I'm glad you are getting to this project! It's been a while since we spoke.
Since then I actually have a rather full gallery of Princess pictures.
If you go to the co.uk site and type in "Dark Princess" or "Evil Princess" and check the box for the gallery you will get all the images I have. I've got a LOT of pictures of her in lots of poses, fronts and backs.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

That is all incredibly helpful, thanks! I have one proposed sketch so far. Once I have a couple more, I will post them up for feedback.
