Weird Dress for 12" RB Doll

I'm wondering if this came from a non-RB doll and just happened to fit or what. Have any of you seen a dress like this before?

Where did you find it?Its cute. Maybe its a custom outfit because it is done in Rainbow Brite style.

I saw a doll on ebay with this dress on it! Is it the same doll or is this another dress just like it?!?!

Same doll...I never bought it. Just got him to send me additional pictures of it. I guess it must be a custom...that decal just throws me off.

Sadly, a lot of sellers don't seem to know what it is they have. Dolls get passed from one collector to another to another...and important information gets lost along the way. So there's no real way to know where it originated

Of course it's the original dress. It was the dress she was originally wearing when the seller bought her...
