Hello all, its been quite awhile.... just thought i'd pop in to see what's new. I miss spending time on here like i used to... but alas, work an 5 kids i barely have time to sleep let alone get on here lol, but i do think of you all and the boards often... rainbow land is never far from my thoughts :0) Hope you are all well!

Nothing wrong with it, per se. It just wasn't for me

Too much "big city" and not enough country. I felt like I could never get away. And I had a horrible experience with someone I met there...so that left a bad taste in my mouth

It's a beautiful state though! I loved the weather

FLORIDA is a Great Place if...

You like being eaten by alligators.

You don't mind being carried away by mosquitos.

You think that being in a hurricane is exiciting.

You really love the 99% humidity and 99 degree temperatures at the same time.

If you speak both Redneck and Business versions of English.

You enjoy sports with a large choice of top pro and college teams.

You love to go swimming at anytime of the year.

The same with fishing.

You're a senior citizen.

You enjoy not having a state income tax.

You hate to buy heating oil.

And so on.

For all that, I've lived a good part of my life there at different times and if I were ti retire in the USA, I would likely do it in Florida.

alrighty then lol... well u were in the hustle an bustle in miami :0) altho it can be crazy at times where i live as well :0) but I LOVE it here.... But its pretty much just me an the kids an our "routine" i don't venture much out of our comfort zone LOL!
