Sadly, RB appears to be on the inside of the arm. So, when standing normally, no one will see her. :(

Nicely done but how is she going to feel walking around with that when she gets to middle age and beyond?

I like the tat ... it s very well done and the clours are so nice and powerful ! :) Cool find Katy ! ^^

@Blondine :

I d say it depends on her self-confidence and inner attitude whether she feels good with that tat on her arm when she is older or not. ;) I guess she extremely loves those 80s chars and cosidering the size and conspicuousness of this tat she highly probable thought about all consequences before getting it.
That s my assumption ...

I've known some people who regretted having large tattoos in middle age because the tats no longer looked good on them as they matured.

I've also known some younger men who bitterly regretted having the name of a former girlfriend or even wife plastered all over them in large letters after the breakup or divorce...

I like my tattoos, just me speaking. My two biggest tattoos are my Alice tattoo and The Lord's prayer tattoo < it's even readable, though it has run together a tiny bit because of weight gain. I got my Alice tatt over a scar to hide it. I also have my grandmother's name above Alice. It's on a banner with a flower. Altogether I have 13 tattoos (2 on my chest, the rest on my arms). So far I don't regret any of them, even the one that almost had to be removed because the artist used metallic purple on it and I was 18 and ignorant to 'metallic' colors. But my new tattooist, BoDean, he went over the whole tattoo with saline solution and drained out all the ink. Now it don't itch!! It's light pink colored now. I still like it. It's the symbol for 'Prince', the singer.

I know exactly what you're talking about with tattoos not looking good as it matures.. I once wanted it all sleeved off with tattoos but I'm thinking not now. For one, I don't have the money lol And YES - I know a couple who got each other's name tattooed on their bodies then they broke up. For that reason, I often debate for months before I get a tattoo... I make SURE it's what I want. I think in one of my pictures on this forum you can see some of my tattoos.

Okay I'll stop writing now. I hope I didn't bore anyone to tears!

It's certainly eye-catching and bright.

Well, that second one is just one of the no-no's when getting a tattoo. Never ever get someone's name on your body that you are seeing or are with or even married to.

My theory is that a tattoo should always have meaning behind it. When I got my first one, I thought about it for a year before getting it done. It's been nearly 2 years now. I don't think it's something I'll regret because it's a reflection of myself and the symbolism is something I strive to live up to.
