I know this might sound strange...
Hey everybody. I know this does not involve Rainbow Brite, but it does involve possibly helping the environment so stick with me for a second! I am currently looking to collect plastic soda rings (the ones that come around six packs). Often times, people do not cut them apart before placing them in the garbage, and do not recycle them, which proves very hazardous to wildlife. I would like to make a craft project out of them, and for this project, I would need a whole LOT of these rings. Anybody here an avid soda drinker? If so, it would be great if you were able to send me the rings so they could contribute to my project! Thanks so much for your consideration! Have a wonderful, green day =]

That sounds like a great idea! However, I drink water and kool aid only. From my childhood til now, soda has caused me trouble with my tummy. I wish you good luck though :-)orangiegirl2 wrote:Hey everybody. I know this does not involve Rainbow Brite, but it does involve possibly helping the environment so stick with me for a second! I definitely understand! We don't drink much soda in our household either, which is why I have been having trouble collecting them. I hear they also come around bottles of Gatorade, although my preferred drinks are tea and water so I wouldn't know!

I really don't see many places selling soda that way anymore. Actually I can't recall the last time I did see that. I think many places went to selling in cardboard packs. I've not seen them with Gatorade, but when my family bought it before, it was always in cases with a cardboard bottom and plastic around it. At any rate, can't help because when I buy soda, it's in the 12 packs in the cardboard.
Good luck on collecting them though.

I think Dollar General might sell their soda like that- you don't see those around much any more.

Thanks all. Looks like I am a bit outdated as I did not realize that many companies do not utilize that type of packaging anymore . I have collected a few here and there though...
