Rainbow Brite in your life

Post by Watercolor »

How much has Rainbow Brite really influenced your life?

My 6 year old "BLUE" Chihuahua, is named Piper Blue Brite Eyes.
My 13 year old truck is named "Starlite"...white, with Star seat covers, Star steering wheel cover and Star mirror charm.

What about you?

While I haven't gone and named anything after them, I still watch the series and movie whenever the color bug hits me. And the idea I've gotten for an updated story about the series has consumed a great portion of my creativity. Whenever I'm not working on it, I can't stop thinking about it. Only yesterday I finally perfected my take on Rainbow's costume. I should name my next cat Wisp....
"I hope you know what you're doing, Rainbow."
"You still doubt me, after all this time?"
"I don't doubt," Krys said as he paused at the door. "I worry."

There was another topic where Katy mentioned the RB character names that she gave to all her pets. She'll have to tell you the exact names though, I can't really remember.

I've named several pets after RB characters:

On-X (dog)
Romeo (dog)
Orin (cat)
Lala Orange (hermit crab)
Red Butler (hermit crab)
Lurky (hedgehog)

I have a Rainbow Brite tattoo and if I ever have a daughter, her middle name will be Rainbow :)

You said your daughter's first name would be Adora after She-ra, right?

I mentioned this elsewhere, but I just had to share it here. My dad does a perfect Lurky impression.
