life-size rainbow brite

Aaahhh, don't overdo it! The pale surface is just fine! Any more glossy and it'll look plastic'y :P

I'm so tempted to print this off on 10 A4 sheets and glue them all together, then stick it to my door until I can afford an original

:-))) no no ...I won t add "anything" more ... no worries !

I just wanted to make sure that she looks nice and shiny ! ;)
I think the teeny white heightenings give some extra glamour and the highlights for the arms and legs were not really elaborated consequently enough !
Honestly I like this finished version a little more. ( matter of taste I guess )
I always try to follow my personal taste intuitively. :bg:
I also corrected the black linework in places.
... but I ve to admit that there is really a magical point one should not trespass so the complete work isn t overdone ! ;-)
When you invest so much time you always try to find mistakes...correct them and you want to exhaust all capabilities of the various materials ! XD

I am really happy that you like her so much ... if you should ever feel like ordering such a creative work just let me know ... my pricing is always fair ! ^^

The photo I add to this post is my favourite one of her ! :)

Very nice work, Tom-sprite.
Adding a Twink doll was a very nice touch to the photos to determine size. Very nice. :)

Wow - I cannot believe you finished such a large piece so quickly! Seeing something like this makes me wish I had any sort of artistic ability...

@ Clinozoisite :

 Well ... I guess I got a little faster in drawing cartoon-charas as time passed ... I always work quite impulsive and rushed !

@ Silverorangetears :

Maybe my statement was a little bit too strict ... I guess Wisp likes both Starlite and Twink equally much ! :)
I think "best friend" is always such a squishy declaration ! ^^
:-))) ... a life-size Starlite really would be a lot of work and it would be a very big drawing...I don t think that I ll work this one out voluntarily ! ;)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I made a little night-shift again and finished my life-size-Twink-drawing !
I add one photo to this posting but will take better photos with higher resolution and better lighting conditions tommorow ... will also take some pictures where one can see both rainbow and Twink ! :)

Goodnight guys !!! :snore: :pooky:

I hope I find some free time to work out some more life-size RB charas ...

I d love to draw a moonglo cause I like her a lot ... I think she is the prettiest dolly of the Gen 1 toys too ! :) Yes ... I think a moonglo and a Nite-sprite could be a lot of fun !

I have a half white pasteboard left so I wonder what I ll draw onto it this evening ... I think I have a idea ... but do not babble it ! :P

So long guys !
