Translation-project - German story tape no. 4

half-time !!!

I translated 20 minutes by now !
With time I got a little bit faster ! ^^
I think I was really fast by my standards !

Passages with the villains are easier to translate cause the whole thing is not that
confusing.
The more characters involved the more confusing it gets and it can get quite difficult from time to time ! :-)))))))

OK ! Just wanted to let you guys know that 50 % is done !
The script now contains 26 sites.

Today I won t be able to go on with my translation.
But tommorow afternoon I think I ll have some time left again for this project !

Today I translated 5 minutes tape ...
This evening I want to pull off 5 minutes again.
Then I am 75% through.
I love tape 4 very much so this is not sapping.

I managed to translate 5 additional minutes.

Now I have 30 minutes = 37 pages script

This is circa 75 % of the tape ...

I make progress easily .. maybe cause it s my favourite tape by far !

I enjoy translating at the moment and will now go on a little more.

I think I will be able to finish this project soon ! ^^
Makes me feel really happy !

I also would like to draw a tape-cover or do you guys want to use the
original cover ?

To be honest I was hoping somebody could come up with custom covers, for the first tape I just altered the original cover a bit and added english writing to it so it wasn't anything special but did the job. So yeah, go ahead and create something if you like!! Drawing is something others can do way better than me thus I'll stick with the sound design

May I suggest using a CD jewel case front cover format for the picture? That way people can print it off and use it if they wanted to make a CD out of a tape episode.

I think it could be a lot of fun to draw a custom cover !

I am a little tired ... I translated 3 additional minutes...
Now only 10 minutes are left.

The following days I won t have much time left for translations but I hope I will find some time at the weekend ! :-) (Saturday)

I was hoping to not post the scripts in public before the corresponding story tape has been posted along with it, just to give people a chance of listening to the story the same way as when they were originally introduced in germany 25 years ago.

Of course tom-sprite's translations are his own property and he can share them with anyone he wants to, but I'd be thankful if you could do that via PM rather than on the boards .... it's up to you guys!
