Hallmark also could ve invented another series to target older kids. But none of those other lines are owned by Hallmark. Actually Barbie seems to have lines that target different age groups such as the fairy and princess stuff for the little kids and the Fashionistas for the older ones and Bratz is pretty much dead since Mattel killed it. Really the current RB while it seems targeted towards older kids so far it has nothing that would make parents of younger kids not want their kids exposed to it. Maybe it is more Hallmark is trying to make something that might appeal to all ages. For example a preschool age girl might have wanted Bratz dolls but most preteens wouldn't be caught dead with a Dora doll.
If they could manage to target different age-groups it would be fantastic.
...but they seem to ignore original RB and transform her and friends into Barbie-clones.
I miss the cuddle-factor ... it s all hard plastic now.
I think you know what I mean ... I simply disklike the fact that the toys are made so extremely uniform today. I want to see uniqueness and I prefer cuteness not trendiness. I don t belong to their target group so it is stupid to complain... I know !

Hallmark decided to change the audience and did not notice or simply accept that rainbow brite lost a lot of her uniqueness.
It s only one opinion. Everybody thinks different about it !

I so hope that they at least produce cuddly cute sprites ... this would be a win !!!
