Today the seller dispatched my junk-dolls ... will last some more days till they arrive ...
I hope I get my delivery Saturday !

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I made a deco-set for my prospective Mrs Dismal custom dolly ...

- a hat with flowers

( cause she wears such a hat in the TV-episode )

- her orange granny-ish dress

( I tinkered it a little bigger so that I can stuff it with cotton wool to achieve a well-rounded look )

- glasses

( I took the TV-design ... the sidepieces have that edged look )

- 2 pearls for her earrings

- some cold-green Merino-wool for her hairstyle

- some cellular-rubber-strips

( ...which will be affixed when the dress is donned )

-will shop some black dolly-shoes for her which you can
see in the left upper corner of the deco-set-pic ...

The pieces for her look great! The hat turned out well!

@ Katy :

Me too ... I hope Mrs Dismal turns out a little cute ! :-D

By the way I changed my mind and want to tinker Mrs Dismal first
cause I already made a deko-set for her ...

Yesterday I sewed her dress ... my sewing technique is very slow but it worked ! ^^
I decided to sew the parts where the felting interleaved to give the dress a better look ...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Fimo classic modelling clay arrived ... I will try to form some murky-ish noses ! ;-)

Last week my oven suddenly was out of order ... today it will be repaired ...hope I can harden the clay after the craftsman fixed the problem.
Sadly I have a lot of unnerving housework to do today ! :P

Jasmine (jazzy) told me that airbrushing a RB-doll s face can be problematic because it can be the case that the colour does not stay on the vinyl ... I will test various colours at the top of the head before I use the colour for the complete face ... I will also degrease the vinyl and will sand it gently before I apply the airbrushcolour ....
...I hope my junk-dolls arrive soon ... I am quite antsy at the moment ! ^^

My oven works again .... so ....

Mrs Dismal s nose is finished ... I only need to airbrush it grey before I glue it onto the junk doll ...

... I also formed some formative breasts with the modelling clay
... the junk doll has to wear this construction so that it s body fills out the dress naturally ...

... after the body was remodeled and the dress is donned I ll stuff it with cotton wool ...
