So next Thursday is the American holiday known as Thanksgiving. I'm not sure about the rest of the Americans here, but a tradition with my family is that everyone stands around the table before eating and lists the things they are thankful for. So I figured we could do that here as well. For anyone who's not American, I'd love it if you still participated and told us what you were thankful for over the past year Everyone is welcome!

Myself, I am thankful for:

- my family and the few friends that've stuck by me
- my two darling cats, Mittens and Baby
- that Mittens has not had a relapse with the breast cancer. She's been almost a year without it.
- my apartment and the fact that I am now able to support myself
- my job as a teacher and that I am able to work in this economy
- my talent as a fanfic writer
- that my parents and those I've told that I'm gay since 2006 have had very little issue with the matter
- my LJ, the one place where all of my thoughts, hopes, dreams and ideas over the past 6 years have been poured.

Your turn

I am thankful for:

-Having a wonderful family that supports me in every way I need.

-Having some wonderful friends IRL that have A LOT in common with me and I can talk openly about anything, no matter how weird or babyish it may sound.

-My 2 dogs: Birdie (Chihuahua), Kibbers (Keeshond), and Sabrina, my cat.

-My fiancee (my best friend), who is always there through everything with me, and has an excellent paying job.

-Where I live. Decent sized "house" thats tucked back from the road in the country w/ a pond and a creek, an excellent place where our dogs and cat can be outside without worrying about cars or annoying neighbors + rent is great.

-Being able to go to college + finish my classes for my degree while getting excellent grades.


I really have lots and lots to be thankful for, but those were the top ones.

I am thankful for


- my dogs, Tink, Princess and Lily



- my cats, Snowflake, Brownie, Puff and Cali (she has some on the way)



- family (don't know any teen RB collectors )
- a huge toy collection (that I only got picked on twice this year for)

- homeschooling

- the spam kids will not be allowed near my pc/laptop
