Thanks guys. I did have a fun day. Was yesterday. Went to Church in the morning, at which the readings touched me in a personal way, and the songs the choir chose were some of my favorites, though it's killing me that I can't remember the names of two of them.


Had breakfast and watched a movie afterwards with a few friends, Rachy included. It was one of my favorite movies and no one else had seen it, so it was really great to be able to share that (Porco Rosso for anyone interested).



We went on a brief hike, then made it back in time for a barbecue. This gorgeous little black kitty with bright yellow eyes visited us after we'd all finished eating, then it went to stalk the birds at the bird feeder. Didn't catch anything, though; the birds saw it before it could get too close.



It really was a lot of fun; the best I've had in the past few years - not that they've been bad, just not as good as they could have been with friends.

Awwww kitteh! I love black cats, I have two of them. But I'm glad it didn't catch anything. Just yesterday my cat caught a bird. We took it away from him before he killed it, but unfortunately it was too injured. We took it to an animal rescue place and discovered that one of it's legs was almost ripped out of the socket and turned 180 degrees. It had to be euthanized. I was so sad.
