If anyone here has ever heard of/participated in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), you probably already know about Script Frenzy.
For the rest of you, here's the deal. During the month of April, writers all across the globe join this movement and scramble, for thirty days, to write a 100 page script (for a movie, play, graphic novel, etc). It's a fantastic movement that battles writer's block and procrastination, not to mention self-doubt. If you ever didn't start a project because you were convinced you could never finish it - or just never finished a project - this is a great movement to join. It's fun, and fruitful. You can learn a great deal about yourself, your limitations (or lack thereof) and much about the process of writing through this gauntlet of creative explosion.
The website for the movement is here.
For those interested in NaNoWriMo, check out the website here. It takes place from November 1st to the 30th, and it consists of writing a 50k word novel (about 175 pages). It's basically just speed-writing a first draft, which you can then either toss, or if it's any good, revise, revise, edit, revise, and submit to a publisher. There's a great community involved with both projects, and they provide a number of tools to make the journey smoother. It really is a blast. I encourage anyone who can to try one or both projects at some point.

Re: Script Frenzy
I've heard loads about Nano, but never about the script bit for April. I do know that now is the time that people are supposed to edit their Nano's... I've also heard of the blogging version of this too, which is pretty nifty in itself.
It's not really my thing...sure it'd be fun, but I love my fanfics best.
