I decided to duck out this afternoon and grab a quick lunch at a Chinese buffet. This was the fortune, honest to God, that was in the cookie:


"May the rainbow always touch your shoulder."



I have no idea what that means, but I just found the timing of it rather incredible.

Rainbows are a symbol of luck in quite a few cultures, including the Chinese, I believe. So it's probably just a wish for luck. Still quite an awesome fortune to get xD

This reminds me of the card me and Starvoyager got from my uncle at christmas.....for some reason he wrote "don't fall off the rainbow" when i asked him on facebook what he meant he said he didn't know it just sounded right to say at the time (weirdly enough i was going through a hard time last christmas...my grandma was in the hospital and my dad was being really mean to me....my uncle didn't know this tho hehe He also didn't know at the time i'm into Rainbow Brite).
