It's been nearly a year that I've been living at my current place, I only just got back from my holiday when I received this "lovely" letter in bold and uppercase writing, stating that I have to vacate the property and remove all personal belongings within 7 days, apparently due to unpaid rent!! The truth however is that we've had no heating for the past 4 months and there's been rats and mice in the kitchen which the landlord never took care of. So the "care taker" of this place refused to pass on any rent to the owner, which in the end put us in this mess that we're in now .. all of us have to leave by tuesday, and I have no idea yet where to go. What's worse is that I have not known about any of this until a few days ago ...

I have a viewing appointment for a flat down south on monday morning, fingers crossed that it'll be a good place cos I got like no time to find something else.

If there are any housing agencies there in Great Britain, you should go to one of them and report them. I think it's very unfair for you to get the boot for the care taker's mismanagement.

I'm sorry you're having to deal with that Here's hoping that the place you're going to look out turns out well!
