Scary!

Just thought I'd ask for prayers of safetly. We moved to the base about 5 months ago. It's on lock down cuz a guy is running around with an AK 47.
Kinda freaky. The news isn't allowed on base so they dont know anything really, but people on base are writing the news saying someones been shot, lots of ambulance have come on base & everything is on lockdown, for over 2 hours.

My hubby can't come home until it's off lockdown.

There are two schools here & noone can pick up their kids until it's off lockdown either. So glad I homeschool! I have my babies with me

BUt i feel for the parents of these children!

OMG how scary- I'd be lying on the floor.

Probably some poor guy with PTSD that cracked.

S far we know, he's in a building, still locked down & he's got an M16 they think. Civillian.
Not sure when they will get out of here. Don't think my hubby is coming home

Poor kids if they have to stay overnight at school! How scary for them!

I just heard on the news the lockdown is over and they're saying it was a misunderstanding, that no one was running around with a gun.

I could not believe it! How hard is it to figure out it was just a misunderstanding?!? 11am till 5pm. Geez.

I guess better safe than sorry, but the poor kids lock in school from 11-5. That's nuts, not to mention scaring everyone out of their wits!

Sorry it took me a while to update. My daughter's been miserable. Her ear was bleeding, scared me. Last few days have been full of drama.
