Hi

Does anyone have a favorite book 'series' that they collect or like to read?

I like the Madison Avery books by Kim Harrison. I also like the Goosebumps book collection by R.L. Stine :-)

I have quite a few favorites I collect and read:

Celaeno series by Jane Fletcher
Lyremouth Chronicles series by Jane Fletcher
Provincetown Tales series by Radclyffe
Maximum Ride series by James Patterson
Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull (which just finished this year)
Anne of Green Gables series by L.M Montgomery. I collect any variation of this series when I find it.

With the exception of AoGG and PT, all of these series are fantasy of some kind.

I have a book of Anne of Green Gables. It's by the 'Great Illstrated Classics'.
:-) I've never read it, it came with a lot of books I got on ebay. Do you have that copy of it?

Indeed I do. That's the version I read to younger students. It's a much simpler version than the original, but it does leave some things out.

Oh yeah, I have a few favorite series that I read over and over.

The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer- LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE
The Sookie Stackhouse Novels by Charlaine Harris- LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE
The Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan- LOVE LOVE LOVE
The Wicked Lovely Series by Melissa Marr- LOVE LOVE
The Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling- LOVE LOVE LOVE

There are probably more, but I can't think right now.

I also really like the Dark Hunter Series, but I haven't finished those yet.
And I started a new series where the 1st book is called Fallen, but I can't remember the author right now, and the book was good, but not awesome. I'm hoping the 2nd one is better. ;)

I love fantasy type books. Love reading about vampires, faeries, people with magic, etc.

I have and have read all 103 books and stories in English in the Jules Maigret detective series written by Georges Simenon.

Maigret was the Chief of Homicide for the Judicial Police in Paris. For all of that, a number of the cases played out in different French cities, in two American cities, and one or two elsewhere.

I have actually been to many of the locations mentioned in the cases that took place in Paris.
