Daylight Savings Time

For those who live where this is done....

Did anyone else forget that earlier this morning the clocks changed? I know I sure did. I remembered looking at my clock and thinking it was only 8... petting my cat that was with me in bed and then got up. When I sat down at my computer with my cereal I saw the clock read 9:16... I thought I'd fallen back asleep, but then I suddenly realized that it was daylight savings time ending...

I for one am glad. I love more light and driving to work when it's nice and bright out. Plus, this spring weather has been great. We've gotten ran and some flooding, but nothing too bad at this point.

I was out when it switched over. I must admit that it sucks when bars/clubs close an hour early because of the time jump. *boo*

But I, too, enjoy the fact that it is a bit lighter on my drive to work. :)

Funny you brought this up, I was just mentioning that to someone else! lol

Clocks go forward here on 28th of march, I can't wait for the days to get longer again and hopefully it'll become much warmer soon as well!! I'm so tired of the cold weather, it puts a real downer on every aspiration to do stuff!

Hehe I told mom about my blunder and she told me how I was one of those people who you could tell and tell and they'd still forget.

I love that it's starting to get warmer. That's the best part. I love spring warmth. It's not too hot and not too cold.

Spring Foward---Fall Back

If a place closes at 9PM before daylight times starts, it still closes at 9PM after daylight time starts...

When you set your clock one hour ahead in the spring, it becomes darker in the morning because the sunrise has been put back an hour. And it stays light later in the evening because the sunset has been put back an hour.
