I thought I get this one started before all here in the USA go over the river and trough the woods.
The Sprite were not left out either.

1980s blast from the past alert:
The Smurfs come back to be in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.

I got to watch the parade myself. The Care Bears were in it too.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving 2008
I've watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade every year since we got satellite or cable or whatever star choice is. ha! ha! I love it! I love parades! Every time I watch one I cry, and I'm never sure why. I usually like the Walt Disney Christmas Day parade better, but I still love the Macy's one. : ) I cried tons when Kermit sang! : ) Maybe we'll be really lucky and Rainbow Brite will be in one of the future!! : )
I can't stand thanksgiving dinner. I don't really like tradition. To me, it makes sense to eat what I'm thankful for on thanksgiving dinner - mmmm, what would I have . . . a shrimp roti! : ) But really, any tropical, caribbean esk, and carnival foods make me smile! I LOVE FOOD! Ha! ha! : )
