The year of 2009 started off not so great...well...during Christmas 2008 my grandma was in hospital and I was sad all the time leaving Starvoyager to try and handle my manic crying. My grandma has a lot of health problems and she had a huge abcess hernia thingy that was pushing on her already screwed up digestive system....it was a surgery they said she might not come out of...thankfully..she did...but the beginning of the year involved her trying to get any sort of appetite back etc. Needless to say ...Christmas day when we had visited her I was very happy and thankful she was still there. I grew up in the same house as grandma and grandpa and was always very close to them...even more so than with my own mother and especially my father. My father...George...also caused havoc for me during that same Christmas when he started harrassing me again over e-mail....how many times am I going to literally feel like Wendy and her father George? I even told him what was going on with grandma and I couldn't handle that stuff anyhow let alone then...it didn't matter. He kept bugging me. But hey at least I had my grandma still!

Actual new years eve was pretty neat....at the time we were living next to a big pond and on all sides of it you could see fireworks going off everywhere...felt like being at some kind of chinese festival lol
We began writing up new ideas for plays and novels we're working on. I can't talk about too much of that online as most people know...you shouldn't give your ideas away

In June Michael Jackson died JUST as we were going to Walt DisneyWorld. Me and Starvoyager LOVED Michael...a lot. And everything was very bittersweet especially going on the Peter Pan ride and visiting Pixie Hallow. MJ has been on our mind on and off an aweful lot still and we saw "This is It" in the theatres and it was just ...so sad to know his children will never see him in concert.

I had a great time in DisneyWorld though and it was the first time I was ever able to go even though I'd always been a Disney fanatic. I think I've said it before and I'll say it again...I could LIVE in the Magic Kingdom...especially in one of those cartoonified houses behind Cinderella's castle hehe I loved being in there. Maybe I'm old school but my favorites were Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Carribean (aside from walking down Main Street with Cinderella's castle at the end...talk about giving you something to walk for...I couldn't wait to get to the end of the street the first time I was ever in there. I've wanted to be at that Castle since I was reaaaally little.)

On the downside of things....when we returned home...there was a flea problem in the apartment...my old upstairs neighbor has now informed me there were issues with the front lawn for whatever reason. So that was a huge headache.
As you all know dear Major Ursa is no longer around....July 30th we all found out on here about that. I didn't know him very well but Starvoyager knew him much better as he'd been on here longer than myself. In the short time I knew him though I found him to be very sweet and very enthusiastic about Rainbow

End of July to Early August...not to sound gross to some people but I had some "girl" problems...bleeding...for two and a half weeks and I still am not sure why I was...I was very unwell during this time. Sometime that month we decided to take some cool pictures outside in the moonlight...anyone who missed it at the time...he took this picture of me as Wendy asleep in neverland.

Aside from that there was our usual fun:

On the plus side...October 10th we got engaged with our wicked cool Peter Pan/Rainbow themed rings. We met through Peter Pan originally..not Rainbow Brite. I had all my Peter Pan knowledge to share (like while Finding Neverland is a fun movie about a person who is a lot like us...it's totally not historically accurate....so for the record anyone out there who wants to know about the REAL James Barrie....buy "The Lost Boys" BBC miniseries starring Ian Holm) and Starvoyager introduced me to the world of Rainbow. So we had matching rings with rainbow stones, an acorn on the side of mine a thimble of the side of his and two stars on both representing "second star to the right" being neverland.

Not long after that came halloween...we dressed up as Disney's Peter and Wendy...he had someone custom make the dress for me.

While we didn't originally plan on getting married extremely quick we just love each other so much. We already feel like we're one soul in two bodies (we've actually come to the conclusion from reading it's something called twin souls. The things they talk about we'd been experiencing the whole time without even knowing what that concept was)...anyhow...it was time to show it to everyone else our inner bond through an outward ceremony. My family couldn't make it as they are far away from where we are now. But Chris' (Starvoyager) family and friends had literally become this to me in so many ways before we made it official that it didn't really feel lacking. We planned on having a seperate pagan handfasting later on (yes dressed as Peter and Wendy...because as you can tell so far I suppose...those characters are so much a part of us...though other people brought it out of us a bit...together we create an explosion of childhood haha) but for now did a semi traditional wedding of a winter theme. We both love snow....a LOT. On the downside to this...there was one majorly marked absence. One of Starvoyagers grandpas passed out while everyone was home one day...just as we'd started planning the wedding and we couldn't wake him up. As it turns out there was an aneurism on his heart. He doesn't want open heart surgery though so he's decided on rehab to get his strength back and just live with it till he's gone....it's really very very sad but he's still with us thankfully.

We then went on to have a great thanksgiving..his grandfather was able to come visit from rehab. And the Christmas season has been great too. Some of my favorite gifts (not that it's easy to pick)...Starvoyager bought me two hamsters for Christmas...I'd been wanting some and they are the first furry pets I was ever able to own..i'd always wanted something more than a fish but wasn't allowed to.). He also gave me a nice simple but efficient sewing machine like one I had when I was little (I've always hand sewn practically). The name on it ironically was....PIXIE! :D

He bought me this Santa outfit I LOVE it hehe It's so pretty and I'm such a christmas fanatic!

My sewing machine *squeeeeel* I stuck the fairy sticker on the side if you can make it out lol Part of another gift...I got a ton of fairy stickers :D I love the little buggers haha
It's been a crazy weird and wonderful year... I hope it has been great for all of you as well...and I wish you all a WONDERFUL 2010! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
