So unlike me to triple post but my cosplay outfit is finished The commissioner emailed me late last night after I'd gone to bed and sent me a pic. Here's what it looks like, with a character pic for reference:

I started reading Maximum Ride to my 5th graders today and I've got 'em hooked. Ended 'em on a cliff hanger before lunch and since I had brought my graphic novel with me, I was able to show them the picture of said cliff hanger. We read quite a bit this afternoon and they can't wait for more. It was so quiet in my room you could hear a pin drop.

As a teacher, I am quite glad it's Friday. I love my students, but really I need the break to unwind. Plus, I leave at 6 tomorrow to head for Pittsburgh for a convention :D So that means finishing up the little I have left tonight and going to bed early :D
