Glad you like them. I have my eye on the next ones I'll be getting already XD I bought a 9x12 art portfolio to display them in and it works really well and it lets me look at them. Like you said, the character designs are lovely. I do love the eyes though. So far, the genga I've bought that have been sketches have a lot of detail, more than I would have expected.

I got more Simoun genga :D

This one is my absolute favorite. It's of Neviril in the Simoun and it's gorgeous:

These next three were grouped together and sold very cheaply. I'm intending to find out why when I get them. I think part of it was because there seems to be overlay work. They're also not main characters. I dunno. I'll find out. In the order of the links there's Halconf, Rodoreamon, and Wauf. The Rodoreamon one cracks me up.

I was able to purchase some new genga tonight.

The first 2 links are a pair. They are from episode 2. The second page is supposed to have a crease in it somewhere but I couldn't tell from the scan. The scene involves Floe and Aaeru.

Then I bought another Aaeru genga, just cause she's my favorite. Not sure of the ep on this one since it's not marked.

I missed this in your last update --- very pretty!

Your new Simoun sketches are lovely, as well. You don't see too much artwork from this series, so congrats on winning some of the nicer examples.

XD There's a really pretty one up for sale of Vyura and Yun, but I didn't want it right now, nor did I have enough for it. This seller rather enjoys my business. I've gotten 12 pieces from him at this point.

Yeah, it's pretty painless going through him and there's never been any issues.

I may open a Rubberslug, but I'm not sure. I'd have to rescan everything in so that I'm not using his images. As it is, I just save those from ebay since I don't have the ability to rescan and since I do own them.

And yes, I've been to that forum. It's quite lovely, though I've never had the urge to join in yet

I've actually gotten my mom to watch anime. It's very nice. She had surgery last week and is recovering and it takes a long time before she can do what she wants again. So I convinced her to watch Simoun. I didn't think she'd watch it because it was anime and subbed, but she said she'd try it. I told her she had to watch 4 eps no matter what. A week later, she's only got 6 more eps to go and loves the series.

We are not close so this is the first time we've had something to really bond over. And it's great.

She doesn't want it to end though and she was mad that it was almost done. Now I've convinced her to try my fanfic and she just might because she really does love the series.

I'm gonna give her Fate/stay night next. She does want something else and that's a really good series to watch (ignoring, of course, how it's a mash up of the VN). It was either that or Soul Eater, but Soul Eater is twice the length in episodes.

Awww, that's exciting! I'm so happy for you. If I happen to be watching anime while the family are around, all I normally hear are comments like, "why is her hair blue?" or "I know you're on episode 60, but could you summarize the entire series for me, right now, so I can understand the last 5 minutes of this episode?"

After awhile, I just started hoping they'd go away and never come back. *laughs* But at least my parents agree that some of the artwork I've purchased is aesthetically beautiful. *yay*

That would be what my family used to do. But mom decided to give Simoun a shot because she knew that I really liked it and wanted to see if it would be something we could bond over. It's been fun getting her reactions to the show. Before she watched though, she did always like my genga because she always thought it to be well done.
