Me and Starvoyager saw it in New York City before it closed last June..it's AMAZING. You can actually rent (ha) /buy "RENT filmed live on broadway" it's called. They filmed the last performance. Highly recommend it!
I love Evita, but so many people hate it :) I have the DVD and the soundtrack for it. I saw RENT last semester but maybe I should look into the broadway version...that'd be nifty to see. I only have it on DVD in the first place because one of the grocery stores here sold it for $10

Indeed Evita is underrated. I found myself into the history of the story and was even given a book on the real Eva Peron for Christmas the year the movie came out. Some find it dull but between enjoying the history of it and the awesome tunes...I consider Evita very underrated by most. As for RENT..yes...trust me...broadway version is sooooo much better.

Yeah I have a book on her and a video as well, which I've never actually watched ^_^" I was first introduced to it in my Spanish III class in high school and fell in love with it. Whenever I watch it around my family, they make fun of it (they aren't fond of musicals). Rainbow High is a good one :)

Yes, that's a good one. I always skip over the track with Magaldi... he bugs the heck outta me. I think Rainbow High and Rainbow Tour are my favorites...oooh and New Argentina!

"New Argentina" is a VERY good feeling type of song I always get goosebumpy from it hehe. And *shudder* Magaldi is creepy I always hated him haha The character itself is a sleeze but the particular actor in the movie I especially disliked lol

Yes, and Che is very good too. I do find it funny when Magaldi and Eva meet up again years later at the charity event.
