Happy New Year!

Post by Major Ursa »

It's time to say good-bye to 2008 and hello to 2009. I know it's already 2009 in Austrailia. It's only three and a quarter hours (as of this post) to go in Great Britian. Here in my time zone (eastern standard time), there's only eight and a quarter (as of this post) to go. So lets gab the ol bubblely and toast to a new year.

Thinking about this new year, it will be the Silver Aniversery of Rainbow Brite. It was 25 years when I believe that she made her public appearance.

BTW: Only 2 hours and 20 minuets (as of this posting) before the crystal ball drops in Times Square in New York.

As long as I am alive and well by the end of the year. Then I won't complain..much..

Happy New Year! :groupwave: :rbwave: :pikachu: :grouphug:      :rbline: :sun: :sun:

By the way, I didn't watch the ball drop but my mom told me the new years rockin' eve show sucked. Apparently you couldn't see the ball dropping until there was only 10 seconds left and you could no longer see the actual ball because it was behind the stuff at the bottom of the pole. And there was a brand new ball too, so much for that. :(

So, I'm late on this, but because I'm new you can all forgive me! ; ) Happy New Year everyone! It WILL be an excellent year! Rainbow Brite is having a relaunch AND it's the 25th anniversary!! Woohoo! : )

I always love the 9th year of every decade. It's so much more exciting somehow then the other years! : )
