Yeah... well I know daddy's not suffering. He had lung cancer and the chemo and radiation treatments were killing him quicker, although the mass in his chest was slowly shrinking. I miss him so much. I cry everyday. In my mind, the worst part about losing daddy is that I have to live the rest of my life without him. I feel that I didn't get enough time to spend with him. He was always working and I barely got to see him for a long time. I remember the last movie we watched together - Avatar. Something in my mind told me ahead of time that this was the last movie we'd watch together.

Daddy was in so much pain that the hospice people took him to the hospital and while half knocked out on pain killers, I spoke to him in his ear. I know he heard me although he couldn't properly respond. His eyes were half open. One eye looked straight and the other has fallen over to the side... I cried and told him how much I loved him and that he was my hero.

This is all I can say now, I'm about to burst in tears.

I hope I didn't interrupt the flow of conversation. Thanks again for your condolinses (spelling?).

-Alex

P.S. here's a video I made for him:
