Back from vacation #1

I just got back from vacation tonight (been at my family's rustic cabin for a week)...only to find that my air conditioning is broken! It's currently 82 degrees Fahrenheit in my house! (that's almost 28 Celsius) And, of course, no one will be available to fix my poor A/C until Monday, at the earliest.

Fans do really help a little bit ... I use a old one from the 70s and I love it ! ^^

Ugh. Because my A/C is still under warranty, I am required to have it serviced by a technician from the brand (Kenmore), so I can't have the work done until Friday! I guess I'll just be unpleasantly hot and sweaty for several more days. *sigh*

How much warranty do you have left? If it expires in the short term, say before the end of this year's cooling season, then just have whoever can get there first fix it for you and be comfortable. If there's still some time left to run on the warranty, you'll just have to be miserable.
