I've realised I'm going to be on in the mornings now. I'm adjusting my schedule because of snow. Yes. It snowed here, big time.

I haven't been able to go out for my usual walk or run on the trails due to the possibility of being shot because it's hunting season. Boo at hunting season! LOL. Plus the snow dosen't help walking in general. It's too cold. Anyway, I'm getting up earlier to use the apartment complex's workout room. So, I'll be on more in the morning instead of at night. :D

The cat is looking out the window, looking for her kittens to fall from the sky. Or is it Disaster Warning knocking on the window again? He was suspended from school.

Long day, but glad for the weekend.

Was able to finally buy the shoes I wanted for Christmas. I wanted a pair of winter shoes I could wear, especially to work if it was wet or slushy out. I have my steel-toed boots, but they aren't waterproof. I did find a pair of boys shoes at Payless I want. Nice dark brown ones that are waterproof. They went on sale this week and yesterday they were out of almost all sizes which made me :( Tonight though I went back and they did have my size. So I bought them and even found a discount coupon online.

Tomorrow my butt will be plopped on the couch for most of the afternoon...I will finally have a chance to watch my new Sgt. Frog set and I can't wait.

Also, I has new icon. Tis Saber of course. I have quite a few Christmas-y type ones of her, so I may use them. For now though, I love this one :)

It is snowing right now. It's pretty to watch from my window. I've never been able to sit at my window at my parents' house and watch it snow, but that was because my room was in the middle of the house XD Since my apartment is in the upper story of a house, I can see all the rooftops covered. It's the first snow of the season. It's sticking everywhere but the roads and street. They are still too warm for it to matter.

I've gone and bought my first Christmas tree. Well, ordered is more like it. I found a shop online that was selling artificial trees that look more like real trees than what Walmart was selling. Plus, they had more branch tips, which means a fuller tree and more space for ornaments. I got an unlit tree; those prelit trees are a lot more and all because they just added lights. I will say that this site's prelit trees have lights that can be replaced, and the whole strand doesn't go out if one light does. I got a Basalm Spruce that's 6 ft tall and had free shipping. It retails for $250, but was on sale for $100, $20 more than what Walmart wanted for one that looked decent. The difference between the two is vast though. If I'm lucky, next weekend I will be decorating my own tree, or at least, part of it. I have to get my ornaments, tinsel, and a tree skirt from mom, which means whenever they decorate the tree. Tomorrow though, I'm getting lights and a tree topper.

^That's sad to hear Wish, especially knowing Orange is your fave. Here's hoping it wasn't too bad.

Anyway, enjoy the snow. ^^

On another note. I decided to post a pic of my rather modest collection. I'm thinking about moving some things around and using this shelf specifically for Ponvilles (the mini ponies). I'll probably need something with more room as additional SSC dolls and MLPs are added. Plus the new Rainbow Brite has a space reserved somewhere around here. :P

Going shopping later this afternoon. Can't wait. I have a bunch of things to get at Walmart, but I'm looking forward to going to Ollie's today. They have their members only sale tonight. Mom has things for me to pick up for the rest of the daycare kids' gifts and I have some things I'd like to find too. Gonna see if there are any RB coloring books left. There always seems to be. I don't need them, but I like keeping a few extras on hand for those who want to buy them cheaply.

I did finish Sgt. Frog (all 13 eps of the second half of the first season) and I do wish I'd written down the quotes that cracked me up, especially the one from Angol Mois about the earth being beautiful until she had to destroy it. Definitely a funny series, and I can't wait to get the next season when it comes out at the end of January. I think at this point it's the only boxset I'm wanting... I'll be getting the RB one for Christmas and I've got all my favorite series on boxset so I just keep buying books XD

I know what you mean about space, my Wish Bears alone would take 5 of those. My 2009/1991 Oranges and 2006 Coco/Gingers only 1 and a half. (when Coco and Ginger come in the mail)

It's not that bad getting 2 RC Scootaloo on the go sets when I can return one and get two Oranges or the SSC-inspired skirt in black from bodyline.co.jp. :P I hope I am getting Playmates 12 inch Tink.

I need to talk my dad into getting me a coat from bodyline.co.jp, it looks like Mrs. Claus in the red one.

Back from my shopping trip! Boy did I come back with stuff.

Besides the usual groceries, I got Christmas stuff for my tree. Got some lights for it and a tree topper. It's a multi-colored six point star and it was the last one. It was the one I'd wanted online. I got mom's birthday gift too. I got her a giftcard for Bath and Body Works. I also got her a talking Fred doll. She loves Fred and the dolls were super cheap on clearance at FYE so I'm gonna attach the giftcard to his hand and wrap both up. For my students I got Scrabble Slam for the spelling station and the book Island of the Blue Dolphins. My kids expressed interested in the novel after reading an excerpt in our reader this week. I've never read the book myself.

Ollie's was packed, as expected. I got the rest of the daycare gifts. It took forever to go through the toys section to find what I was looking for though. Mom wanted another Thomas UNO game for one of the boys and I found one, the very last one too. No more RB books though. I got some acrylic paints for myself and found a Boggle travel binder game very similar to my Scrabble game. The best part was the deals. Everything was 15% off unless it was Christmas or toys and then it was 25% off. I got 6 larger things (not counting the .33 bottles of paint) and all of that was $28. I was pleasantly surprised.

Some people were cranky of course. Or surprised at the crowds. They really shouldn't have been. At this point it's grin and bare it. There's no point in getting angry or trying to cut people. I really wish I would have brought a book along to read while in line though... I passed the time by IMing people on my phone instead. XD
