In 1 week from today (February 1 2009), final entries will be placed in a poll. Top 3 of that poll will be drawn!

What is something you would like to see?

Only 10 slots are available per month to be voted on, so make sure the suggestions you give are what you want. First come first serve. No more then 2 by one user a month will be added to the poll. If both entries are voted to the top, then both entries will be up for the contest.

Do not post more then 2 ideas a month, and only in the entry thread for that month.

Of the 10 slots, the top 5 ideas (5 with the most votes) are voted on by you.

Drawings/Art is posted (as created, depending on artists availability), and featured on the site and message board (and where else the artist wishes to post it)

Drawing Request Rules:
The Rules for the requests coincide with the requests to artists. They follow the same rules.

Characters are to be from the program, movie or books.

No “original/Fan-Fiction” associated characters. Rainbow Brite related characters only, please.

Drawing are in the style of the artist who is drawing, and will most likely NOT be in the original animated style of the show. Suggesting characters drawn in different animated styles is okay, since they are changing her image with the new designs.

No backgrounds, or locations unassociated with the program.
Location re-interpretations are okay.

IE: “What would the colour castle look like if it were a real medieval castle?” would be nice, but only the castle, not “Rainbow Land”. This is to assist in the artists working on the project, to keep down the time it takes to create a piece. *this may be subject to change, but if so would only be a quartly request.

Character behaviors requests okay. no rude gestures.
Clothing requests are okay, no rude clothing (bikinis, suggestive poses, etc) We are dealing with children.

If you do NOT specify the character to be drawn, it will be Artists Choice.

Any suggestion that does not win current poll will be carried to the next month's poll if there is NOT a full list already chosen. Vote during the current months entry for the "Filler" entry you would like to see. If the entry makes it to the contest, but it does not win a second time it will be removed, and not carry past 2 months.

If you already have 2 entries for the contest and one from the previous month is left over, it will not carry to the second month.

Tickled Pink giggling (Dialga-Brite)
"Artist Choice" character as a Teddy Bear (Major Ursa)
Rainbow Brite as a baby (Sarah)
Starlite as a baby (Sarah)

From what I get from the rules, you could suggest something from your story since it'd be a piece of fan art you'd like to see.

If you really wanted a drawing from your story though, I know someone who could help you out there... she charges a small fee, but her work is amazing. I need to see if she can do RB style, but she's pretty flexible. I planned to use her for my story once I got some cash

oooh! I have TONS of ideas. I think because I can't draw very well, the ideas just keep storing in my head. ha! ha! Here's some off the top:
-a rainbow brite carnival/fair
-any of the characters at the beach or wearing beach wear
-any of the characters at the rollerskating rink
-any of the characters with food/eating food! : ) ha! ha! ex. Murky eating something sugary and rainbowey would be super cute
-any of the characters sparkly or glittery
-any of the characters as babies ex. Murky ha! ha!
-any of the characters as toddlers
-any of the characters with a 'fruit theme', like Lala Orange and oranges
-any of the charcters as seniors ; )
-baby brite as a kid, adult, etc.
-if any of the animals turned into kids, what would they look like?
-if any of the kids turned into animals, what would they look like?

-if Murky was/was not a sprite, what would he have looked like originally
-what will 'Shimmer look like'?

-oh! on that icey land with all the sprite and glitterbots, what would the sprite look like before it turned all icey and cold?
-if Rainbowland had a robot, what would it look like?

-if Orin is supposed to be a mythical type character, is that what he really looks like? or just how he appears at that moment? How would he look like at another time?

how about a pic of Tickled Pink looking like she's either giggling or about to giggle? would prefer for her to be in her usual outfit.
