I've started a new Rainbow Brite Blog - Brite Wish. I'll use it to post things that don't easily fit onto RB.net or are too long to fit into a quick news update. Here's the link:

Hope ya'll enjoy it!

Very nice! I loved it. Your posts are great-
Since you have a blog and rainbowbrite.net- you could totally get a press pass to ToyFair (if you had any interest). However- keep in mind that toy industry is so secretive these days that you actually have to reserve time with the companies that you want to check out. I didn't do that last time (I guess I didn't have the guts/time) and I was disappointed to learn that almost all of the biggies (Hasbro & Mattel) won't let you see what they are doing without one-

It really is so very fun- it was better a few years ago when the primo-booths weren't locked, but if you plan ahead (make appointments with Mattel and Hasbro) you will be very happy indeed :D
Plus- with a press pass you can take photos of some of the stuff I bet- (depends on the item I suspect)

Just did some quick research and it looks like they have tightened the criteria somewhat- but you can stilll get a pass if you show that your blog concerns the toy industry- which yours totally does.
You could always draft one before you apply that specifically concerns the toy industry- Or submit an article about RBB/toy industry to a zine or something-
I think rbb.net gives you cred too-
you can research the criteria here:

THe fun thing about a press pass is that you get a bag of goodies and a special press lounge with snacks and stuff to hang out in when you are weary :D
