He he he. They weren't thinking at all. Their mind had been taken over by some illegal substance that they had taken... :P
They were on star sprinkles. :P

What I really love is how the auction still says "Happy Holidays" in Christmas colors. Do they not realize that it is now March?

WOW on the Lurky auction- the box isn't even intact - but even if it was mint, it would be laughable-

Well, some people do Christmas all year. I mean, there are those who have a "Christmas Room" in their home where everything gets stored so it doesn't have to be taken apart for the next year!

I love overpriced auctions; they really are banking on there being a sucker born every minute.

Kitty Brite auction - OMG

That is some craziness. I just got a Kitty Brite not too long ago, in much better shape than that one, and I paid around $50 for it.

@ Stormberryfairy :

I think the price you mentioned would be limit for me too.
Kitty is somehow really a little rarer compared to other rainbow brite toys especially in good condition ...
but the prices some sellers demand at the moment are a bad joke.

Kitty is the last toy I miss from the original 80s-RB-toyline.

I want to buy her someday in good condition but I can t support that momentary kind of price-craziness.

I live in Germany and have to import Kitty to get one.
Quite expensive undertaking.
I never saw a european Kitty-auction.

edit :

Gee! ...nobody bought horror-price-Kitty !!! ;-)

I find that patience pays off in the Ebay world, even though it is way hard to practice it! LoL!
