Forum Upgrade Complete!

Welcome to the new Forums!

After 6 hours of installing, error fixing and a lot of swearing, the upgrade to the very latest version of PHPBB is complete. Some minor features are still missing but will be added shortly. This should fix all previous problems such as editing your signatures and other posting issues, please do some testing and report errors if any!

I'm afraid the "Blog" add-on has not been transferred over to the new boards however if there's enough interest in this feature I might look into possible ways of re-adding it. Rest assured that I got a backup of all your past blog entries should you require them.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the new look!! If you're interested in designing a top banner for the new layout please head over to General Discussion and post your ideas in the "Forum Logo!" thread!

Yay for board updates. I'll have to test the sig thing later on when I have time. As for the blog thing, they were fun as extras, but if you aren't going to bring them back, the link below the username needs to be gotten rid of.

I like the new design too .. it looks fresh and breezy !
Icons are especially pretty !
I was able to edit my signature again too.

Maybe it's the beautiful clouds doing it, but it seems a lot easier to use too, like if I write a ton it doesn't get all jumpy. woohoo!

Is there any way to have multiple skins for users to choose from? As fun as the clouds are, the white is rather stark and blinding (I guess I'm used to dark-colored fora?)

If it is too difficult, don't worry about it!

The board is using additional custom modifications, so any variant of the main theme would require all mods to be installed again. That's a lot of work, lol .. I might be able to do something about the bright white tho and add some texture to it. There's always room for changes!! I just used this theme as a base because it fits perfectly with everything we already had

Make sure you clean the cache every once in a while to see any changes.
